Get verified for API access
To start using the API or some third-party integrations you will need to be verified for API access.
First, create a support ticket with information we can use to confirm your identity, such as a workplace and/or LinkedIn profile.
If you intend to use a ready-to-go plugin (e.g. Salesforce or Voyager Infinity) let us know that too.
Once verified, login to the Developer Portal to generate your API Key. https://developer.legalesign.com/
Initially, sandbox restrictions apply:

A throttle limit of 100 API calls per minute

Document sends restricted five preset email addresses (Set those in the Environment section of the Portal)

An 'API Test' banner displayed along the top of the signing page.
Later, contact Support to move out of sandbox, add multiple teams,or identify specific dev teams to exclude from any future billing. Create a Support ticket.
